About Us

Bulldog Publishing Ltd has been established for over 10 years, with the sole purpose of providing forces leavers and serving personnel with up to date and accurate information on education, resettlement, and recruitment. Our market leading publications are well respected within the military community, and our readers play an active part in providing us with the feedback that keeps us at the forefront of military publishing. 
 
We are in a unique position to help advertisers reach this pro-active market through print, electronic and direct marketing techniques. Our in-depth military and civilian links, have enabled us to develop effective market research down to an individual level, which we can share with our advertisers to maximize their response.
 
Our office team consists of a mixture of Ex-Forces and civilian personnel, who have specific areas of expertise and knowledge.  Our combined knowledge and experience put Bulldog Publishing in the unique position of being a one stop solution for Armed Forces education, resettlement, and recruitment.
 
EDITORIAL TEAM
 
Lynn Brown (Quest & Courses 4 Forces)
Lynn Brown has worked in publishing as an editor for more than 20 years, on a wide variety of business and educational publications. This includes 10 years assisting former Quest and Courses 4 Forces editor Donald Campbell, during which time she got to know what Service personnel seeking new careers and learning opportunities want and need to read, and how to present this information in a digestible format.
 
Ian Jones (Service Parents Guide to Boarding Schools)
Ian Jones’ career includes 11 years as Head Master of Bedford School, two years as the Director of Studies at Britannia Royal Naval College, and six years as the Regional Director of an Education Charity in South-East Asia.
 
Since 1995 he has been an education consultant, initially as an Ofsted Inspector and a Reporting Inspector for the Independent Schools’ Inspectorate, and most recently as a Tutor for the National Professional Qualification for Head Teachers. He has also been on the governing body of a number of independent schools, currently including a single-sex girls’ school in East Anglia. He captained Cambridge University at hockey, and represented Great Britain in the Rome and Tokyo Olympics.
